The 12-day Sony Ericsson Open boasts the participation of the world's top men's and women's players, and has become the place to be seen in Miami with a record 312,386 guests visiting the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in 2010. The Mutua Madrid Open is staged at the impressive new stadium in Madrid, the city’s Magic Box Tennis venue. The Mayor described it as “one of the best sporting facilities in the world which will definitively reinforce Madrid’s status as a great global tennis capital”.
