Result: IC of GB 13 – 0 Bradfield College

Venue: Bradfield Tennis Centre

The IC of GB were awarded the Henry Billington Trophy after securing victory against the students of Bradfield College.  There was also an opportunity for a few guests to play in the match following the late withdrawal of IC members due to unforeseen circumstances.

The match was played in good spirit and despite the score line there was some excellent tennis on display. Bradfield fielded quite a young team which bodes well for closer matches in years to come.

The match was followed by a special dinner to celebrate the event’s 60th anniversary.  IC luminaries present to support and attend the dinner included The Lord Iliffe, Tony Billington, Chris Gorringe, Mike Stotesbury, James Wyatt, Tim Billington, Geoffrey Hamilton and Sarah Lion-Cachet.
