The match was held for the second time at Tir aux Pigeon another stunning club and venue in the Bois de Boulogne area near Roland Garros. We sadly lost 22 -17 but I was very proud of my team who had to fight very hard against a very very strong french team. Their team was significantly stronger than previous years and therefore we did so well to keep the match close. We even had a number of matches that were decided on the championship tie breaks so it was even closer than the final match score. I have to mention Paul and Chris French, Katie O'Brien, John Feaver, Henk Nijeboer and Tim Philips who were all unbeaten so big congrats to them. Michel and Thierry were once again wonderful hosts and we all had a thoroughly good time in their company. Many thanks to them for looking after us so well and we look forward to next year s match already!
