01 July 2014 / Categories: IC of GB News, 2014 PUENTO ROMANO ANDY PHILLIPS MAKES HIS DEBUT Result: IC of GB 4 – 1 Puento Romano Event Date: Saturday 7th June 2014 Despite the good old English summer weather, miraculously, after heavy rain in the morning the IC of GB match against Puento Romano was played on grass at Moor Park in the afternoon having been restricted to artificial grass for the morning doubles. Andy Phillips on his maiden outing for the IC of GB made a significant contribution winning at number one singles and in doubles with partner Simon Bramwell. After tennis, both teams retired to a local Argentinian restaurant to replenish their strength with a selection of steaks and red wine. The team was delighted to have David Waite (Chairman) and his wife join for dinner.
