18 July 2009 / Categories: Recent Results and Events, 2009 IC v AELTC, 18th July 2009 Everyone was very much looking to play on the grass, but, unfortunately, due to the weather we had to play on the covered courts all day. Despite being inside, it was a very enjoyable day with excellent tennis from the men and women on both teams. Having played the men’s and ladies’ doubles, the IC were 5-3 up! Going into the mixed we were looking to win one rubber to draw and two for a win. I will take full responsibility for my team – I decided on the pairings for the mixed…. And unfortunately, we lost 7-5 overall. Once again, it was a lovely day and played at a very high level in good spirit.
