POTTER CUP (Men's 45s)

Best place finish since 2010...
Result: IC of GB 4th
Event Date: Friday 29th – Sunday 31st May 2015

The IC of GB men’s 45s team got off to a promising start at the Potter Cup with a 4-3 victory over the French (#2 seeds) on the opening day.  Unfortunately they couldn’t back it up against a strong US team in the semi-finals - Michael Pernfors a former top 10 player played at one and Frank Vermeer (runner-up at the World 45s) played at number two. Result: IC of GB 12 – 0 University of Cambridge

A strong IC team beat Cambridge at Fenner’s at the end of May without dropping a set. Due to heavy rain the day before the match started with doubles on the hard courts but soon switched onto the grass once the sun came out. Read more...

New artificial clay court development planned...
Result: IC of GB 10 ½ - 2 ½ Bradfield College
Event Date: Monday 11th May 2015

Lewis Barnes helped the IC of GB to a 10 ½ - 2 ½ victory over Bradfield College on his debut for the IC of GB. The match was played in good spirit and Bradfield laid on a lovely dinner for the teams afterwards. Read more...

IC GOLF DAY

New Trophy donated by Moor Park...

The Annual IC Golf Day was badly affected by poor weather conditions – 45 mph winds wreaked havoc and play was stopped part way through to allow flooded greens to drain. Nonetheless all the golfers persevered and finished their rounds! Read more...
