18 May 2011 / Categories: Recent Results and Events, 2011 Puente Romano 2011 A six-man team consisting of Ross Niland, Nick Jones, Graham Neale, Bill Gowans, Richard Stoakes and Boyd Cuthbertson were narrowly beaten 5-4. We stayed at the beautiful Puente Romano hotel and despite poor weather, we were able to play on their excellent clay courts. However, due to the conditions the match format was changed to five singles and four doubles, the IC of GB winning two of each. We were very well entertained by the friendly and attentive opposing team, led by ex-Wales international, Shaun Leleu, who organised an excellent match and weekend.
