Potter Cup 2013 31 May - 2 June 2013

Once again the Potter cup team had a fantastic weekend in Barcelona starting with our first match against Spain but IC of GB came out second best, on Saturday IC of GB played Germany and after some close matches we were 3-2 down after the singles but played two excellent doubles and beat Germany 5-3. The team played Belgium on Sunday.  We were 3-2 up after the singles and then won both of the two doubles, so finished in fifth place overall for the event. It certainly makes doubles a lot tighter playing the no ad duece!! The team was supported by this year's Captain Peter Hannon and his wife Jane who also attended the Friday night dinner.
