New Members Spring Meeting, 7th March 2010

The Spring Meeting was once again played at a very high level. This year we had 8 pairs with 2 groups of 4. 2 pairs from each group went through and we played a semi-final – unusual, as we don’t normally have time. The semi-finalists were Rob Searle and Carina Dalton, Ann Eley and Richard Wayman, Hannah Collin and Stuart Rhodes, Kate Elliott and Andrew Ambrose. The final was between Ann and Richard and Hannah and Stuart. Hannah and Stuart were victorious for the third consecutive year, 6-2.

 

Three new members attended the event; Pat Wire, Rob Searle and Richard Wayman. Richard did exceedingly well and I know will be a great asset to the IC Club.
