IC of GB versus Fitzwilliam Club, 18th April 2009

We hosted the Fitzwilliam Club from Dublin in London this year and played a very enjoyable fixture on the outdoor courts at the NTC in Roehampton.

We emerged victorious on a 6-1 scoreline.

Jim May beat Fergus O’Connell - 6-1, 6-2.

Paddy May lost to Gary Kilduff - 6-3, 6-7(2), 6-2

Paul Riley/Paddy May beat Fergus O’Connell/Gavin Gilhawley - 6-4, 1-6, 6-1

Katherine Laidler/Arabella Martin beat  Alexia Tierney/Alexandra Pickerill: 6-2 6-3

James Pringle/Paul Riley beat Morgan Dunne/Gavin Gilhawley - 6/3 6/3

James Pringle/Arabella Martin beat Gary Kilduff/Alexia Tierney  - 6/4 6/3

Katherine Laidlert/Jim May beat Morgan Dunne/Alexandra Pickerill- 6-1, 6-1.

Both teams went for dinner in a restaurant in London on Saturday evening and all players were presented with a very nice gift from the Fitzwilliam Club.
