IC of GB v IC of Ireland Saturday 13 July 2013

This match for the Peter Jackson Trophy was this year held at Donnybrook LTC, Dublin.
The format: was 4 doubles men/ladies , 4 mixed
 
On the Friday night, the IC of GB team was entertained at the home of the President of the IC of Ireland, John O'Rourke, and his wife Liz. It was a fantastic party with lovely food and wine and great company. The match was played on Saturday 13th and proved to be very competitive with the IC of Ireland nudging the IC of GB out, winning by one set in the end. That night the GB team were guests at the annual IC of Ireland BBQ, also held at Donnybrook - once again it was a great evening and a good time was had by all.

Result: IC of Ireland won by 17 sets to 16
